Today I visited a friend who started his westy repro company in Holland two years ago.
Shortlist of things he reproduces:
- interiors for earlybay, latebay, split
- curtains and fabric for earlybay, latebay, split
- rear hinged poptop roof hinges (improved in a few ways) for latebays
- lots of...
For my '69 Westfalia I'm searching hinges or parts to replace the worn hinges. There's too much play which causes the roof to be raised while driving. Had to McGyver-tape the roof down all two weeks vacation in Denmark...
The hinges on my bus are the tubular ones but the early latebay...
Harry please stop posting pictures as I can't stand it...
I'll be so scared to park my van next to yours... In fact I think I'll never dare
What a great detailing you've accomplished on your ride... I'm so f**** jealous
I bought these hooks new from http://www.poptop.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Holland) Not sure if they still sell them, but it's worth trying!
(they were sold as Vanagon hooks, by the way)

Doris: can these brackets also be used to mount a fog lamp to the rear bumper?
If so, I'd be interested. What will shipping one black powdercoated bracket to NL cost?
Could you PM the details?
Thanks! Great initiative!!
I'll keep that in mind. I know one Undutchable guy.
Compared to the UK I'm close to anyone in Holland :)
I'm most likely crossing the channel to visit Brighton Breeze in October, but if I'm honoust I can't wait that long to get the parts... ;)
I really want to finish the interior of my westy.
