I'm looking a sliding door lock mechanism for my 1971 LHD early bay. The part number on the one I have is 221843654 but unfortunately I damaged the internals on the one I have :( It should be the same as this one. Many Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I'd left it for a couple of weeks to get on with other things, but got back to the handle today. I tried the sacrificial screw and banged it with a mallet but it still wouldn't budge. I ended up cutting the shaft of the handle off with a hacksaw. I was pretty happy that...
