71’ Westfalia interior ply birch panels

I have a set of interior ply panels that came off my 71’ westfalia camper. All panels except ceiling. All have seen better days but great for templates or use as is. Set includes, large near-side panel, tailgate, both small strips for rear corners, off-side panel, sliding door panel and trim for...

    Early Cross-Over rear arch

This afternoon gave the quarter a final wet 'n' dry with 2000grit then the polish came out. I'll give the van a final polish once the interiors back in and the sliding door is secured. I guess this is the concluding part of replicating a one year only arch. I should have just stuck with the...

    Rear drums on X-Over

Plus i think your handbrake arm is in the wrong hole. From memory they go into the top hole but you will have to check this yourself. Shoe assembly Andy

    Rear drums on X-Over

Looks like your shoe isn't fully seated in the slave cylinder. The pistons have tapered ends so will only seat against the shoe one way. Again if you wind the adjusters in it will make the distance between the shoes less.

    Rear drums on X-Over

Top spring goes underneath the shoes (Wheel Bearing Side), bottom spring can go either behind or in-front but i normally fit it behind, handbrake bar should have a clip that attaches to the upper spring and wind your adjusters all the way in or you wont get the drum on. Obviously that's the...

    Early Cross-Over rear arch

So far it hasn't been a bad job to do, the worst part of it so far was putting the cutting disc to a £175 panel! Luckily the nearside only needs a small repair and then it's onto the front deformation panel. I can highly recommend KlassicFab panels! the gauge is perfect and you can tell they...
