just did our splitscreen’s and bought a 500ml oil syringe made it very easy to do, make sure you can get the filler plug out first before you take the drain plug out...

I had a pertonix distributer in our splitty which gave similar symptoms, it eventually failed took along time to find what was wrong after checking every thing else we swapped the distributer over to a spare one I had with points and the fault was sorted.

check the connection spades on your coil, one of mine came off which gave the same symptoms, turned over but would not fire, found the wire hanging off replaced it then all good.
