Any pics of the seats? Might be interested in buying

My bay is anything but standard or one for the enthusiast wanting to keep originality so I would like to fit some different front seats. Is there anything that fits directly (other than standard OE VW camper seats?) as I fancy something different. Or is it a matter of anything can be fitted...

She (lottie) does go well... :msn4: Still needs more work but we are getting there! There's a few things on the wish list, I'd love the reversible front bench seat and a full width R&R bed (instead of the 3/4 width), she'll be used as more of a day van so perhaps a few small changes...

Dropped the gearbox over to James at Cogbox and awaiting a call towards the end of the week on the findings when he's stripped it down-- hopefully it's only something small like a bearing or alike but fingers crossed :)

He's done quite a bit of work for me now. 2 new wings, repaired a and b pillars, outriggers and jacking points :) he's a top man and loves a chat ;)

So I drove this as was for a few months and the gearbox whine was getting noticeable (to me) louder so today saw a strip out of the engine and gearbox so that the gearbox can go off to a specialist to be rebuilt 3 hours of very methodical and slowly slowly saw the gearbox and engine removed

Electric chainsaw here and not found anything yet that it wouldn't get through. You need to keep the chain sharp or even better replace and it will do any job that it's required to do! :D

I (well James Wooton) found the issue with mine... It has the wrong striker plate on the sliding door, it had a striker plate from a front door on it, which are slightly less offset. Or at least I hope that's the problem as the part should arrive today :)

glad someone has the same issue as me, still haven't got around to adjusting it properly and it's only getting worse! Thanks for the link but it doesn't really say much about adjustment.

Had my set about 15 years and no issues at all, the only thing it could do with is some deeper sockets for the bigger sizes. Had a few bits and pieces replaced unter the lifetime warrantee including all 3 ratchets and a few of the screwdrives \ hex bits, officially you need to show them the...
