Replacing twin weber carb linkage with bellcrank linkage

Hi, I'm thinking about replacing my twin weber carb horizontal bar linkage with a bellcrank linkage like this one:- http://www.machine7.com/product.php?xProd=411" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The current setup seems to have too much play in it and the left hand carb has a...

    Misfiring when started from cold

Yeh, usually give it about quarter throttle until it starts to warm up then leave it idling with no throttle. If I don't give it a quarter for at least 30-60 seconds it dies. Its during that 30-60 seconds it seems to misfire. Take it its nothing to bother with then?! Mike

    Misfiring when started from cold

Hi, My van misfires when first started from cold, this continues until it starts to warm up. Once warm and when starting from warm it doesn't misfire. Is this worth investigating or is it 'normal'? If its worth looking at then what's likely to be the cause? Cheers Mike

How to fit a new Chrome front badge

Tried your string technique on my van but it wont budge. Can hear the panel creaking a bit too when I pull so a bit nervous about pulling too hard! How much effort was it to get off and what was it attached with on the other side? Looks really nice with chrome badge by the way, good job!

    my new ride 69 westy

I really like the stance of your vans, what did you lower them by and using what? I've decided to stay with stock wheels but maybe have the van lowered a little. At the moment I've got lower profile tyres on (185 65's), are they standard 185/80's you've got on? (Don't want to buy new white band...

    my new ride 69 westy

Just wondering what you painted the wheels with and did you treat them with anything before? I was going to to put alloys on '71 Westy but thinking more about painting the stock wheels and buying some new chrome domes and rings.
