Got mine out still attached, then used a nut runner to remove it.i think the only thing stopping the fan housing was the thermostat mine was not connected so eased it up a little and bingo out it came

Hi tried to start my bus tonight, but no joy usually starts first time i did finally get it going but it ran really rough and stank of petrol, noticed petrol had been dumped out of exhaust, just checked dipstick this smelt of petrol too any ideas? By the way I got it 200 yards up the road...
