Ok here goes , my 71 van standard engine setup was running fine, I had a job on to remove the Manifold to open up the vacum offatake. I reassembled the engine and now it won't fire. There is a spark if I connect a plug straight to the coil and turn it over but not when it goes through the dizzy...

Do the cans seize up, I ask because my dizzy vac advance only moves1/2 mm when I suck the pipe( wish I could of phrased that better). The one on my mates split has a lot more free and fuller movement.

I've had twin icts on my van for a couple of years now, it's a rebuilt 1641 with a 110 engle cam, svda dizzy, the thing is it has never seemed to run sweet no mater what gets done to it. Pottering around low revs it's ok , but put your foot down and it splutters until the revs pickup...
