Could someone give me the dimensions of their bus from the floor to the wheel arch, unloaded. I get the feeling that my bus ( a 72 crossover) is riding low at the back (or high at the front) My bus is measuring 63cm (16")at the back and 56 (15.2") at the front unloaded. thanks for any help

Ok ill try that route, to one of the battery trays (was hoping not to have to drill) no need to post pics for me, but maybe as a reference for the others? The bar was a complete bitch to fit btw. I reccomend anyone fitting a bar just to run a tap through all the threaded holes just to clear them.

hi, i have a 72 (feb) us import bus and will hopefully fit a towbar over the winter, given its a cross over can anyone see from the photos, taken in the middle of undersealing the bus, below what year tow bar i should be buying? (67-71, 71-72 or 72-79). if it helps i think i have this silencer...

i think when you factor in fuel, campsite fees and possible road tolls to drive the same distances it'll work out cheaper in the end.

i think you'll have to be careful that you can still use the handle to open the slider, i recently put in a new cupboard here to replace the fridge unit and noticed that the slider handle virtually touched the bulkhead behind the passenger seat when you need to open the door. i tried...

there's an access hole for the light wiring and the rear window demister wiring in the pillars on either side of the windscreen that runs up the pillar to the space between the wooden headlining and the roof, i managed to get 4x2 1.5mm speaker wires up through this.its jusy above the ducting...
