Sold *SOLD* 1971 Westy with Teardrop Caravan

Sadly the time has come for someone else to enjoy our lovely camper "Flo" along with "Bess" the teardrop caravan. The van is a 1971 Californian LHD import with front disc brakes and a very strong and reliable 1600 TP engine, she is extremely solid with a couple of small blisters but they have...

    Interior roof advice

I got mine from Rackhams in Ipswich. It was 3 years ago so I am not sure if they still do them but it was a perfect fit.

    help with alternator removal

I seem to remember having a similar head scratch when I was swapping from a dynamo to alternator. In the end I finally realised that the heat risers slide out of the manifold which then allowed me to slide the manifold out completely. Hope that helps! :D

    Fuel Problem...please advise.

My bus suffered with a really bad flat spot which seems to be what you are describing and I tried all sorts - new carb, timing, valve clearances etc and in the end it was down to carb icing. Run your engine until it gets hot and check the temperature of the heat riser tubes coming up from the...
