If you are sure everything is spot on then it could be running 'lean' this will cause it to run hot and pop back (fart) better to be run a bit rich than lean try and richen it up a bit and see how it goes What exhaust and what air filter set up are you running? You haven't mentioned valve...

I would firstly check all your indicator bulbs and earthing points at the bulb holders I appreciate all your indicators work ok but an insufficient insufficient amp draw could cause the tell tail light on the dash not to flash. All power to the front passes through the Headlight switch...

Any one know where I can get a new indicator stalk screw? or what the correct size/thread pitch the screw is? One has fallen out and gone missing and cannot find another of the same size I'm not sure if the remaining one is original either! I have tried Heritage & C&C and a few other places...
