I bought chrome wiper arms and blades from Custom & Commercial and had the same problem with the blades falling off. I solved it by just adding a layer or two of black electrical tape on the plastic fitting, so it fills out the U bend.

I live in Norway, so UK dealers will probably not be of much help, but I can check if a Norwegian dealer have samples. M-plate is not much help - it is a military bus, so the colour codes are some kind of special order. I have asked a local m-plate expert for help, but he came up with nothing.
