'Sounds' like a noise my 71 made when the back wheel bearings were on their way out. Only happened after hour or so of running at motorway speeds, (55!!!). New bearings, problem gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, I am looking to expand the family VW fleet! We have had 71 devon, since 1999, with a growing family we also bought a '72 eriba familia for camping, which suits the missus, me and 4 boys superbly! We are now looking for another type 2 as a day van, and thinking crewcab is the way forward...
