The miners standard. In Winster near Matlock. £5 per person/night. We collected wood from near woods. Kids loved it.

Well, this weekend camping in Matlock we were surrounded by 50k+ motorhomes all mod cons. Yet they spent all weekend chillin around ours and loving it. Even wanted pics taking with him!! Great pub site in the valleys, open fires.

Week away before vanjamboree. Anyone going? If so are wood burners allowed?

We're 1600tp and it was fine on the flat with the van loaded, 3 of us ,dog ,food bikes. Hills a bit slow though.

We have a bluebird, fab bit of kit.

First test tow with the pop up caravan, far better than we thought, drum brakes ok with extra weight too. Ready for summer holibobs

Having had a fab week rough camping im sooo glad ive seen the light and lifted the van back up and put the tire on the front, so much storage space it took up( and behind the tire mount is my tool box and jack) . finishing off at Kustom Kulture hotrod show, give it a go, its got more to look at...

Hia, after some info re this show please. We can't find dates for next year anywhere, and only being half hour from Hull ferry, we're going for hull to zeebrugge. Has anyone done ferry and show? It'll be part of a 2 week holiday. So any info etc would be lovely. Ta
